Samarpan Charitable Trust organized a Handicraft Training Programme at its Delhi office with the objective of promoting self-reliance and skill development among local women. The initiative aimed to empower participants with traditional and creative skills that could serve as a sustainable source of livelihood.
During the program, women received hands-on training in zari work, wooden crafts, pottery, carpet weaving, wall hangings, toy making, and furniture making. The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from 180 women, who not only learned new skills but also gained confidence to contribute to their family income and community development.
This initiative reflects the Trust’s commitment to fostering women empowerment, entrepreneurship, and preservation of traditional crafts.
