Samarpan Charitable Trust organized a basic literacy and numeracy program for underprivileged communities in the backward areas of Delhi, with the support of dedicated volunteers. The initiative aimed at empowering urban slum adults to achieve self-reliance in reading, writing, and numbering skills, while also instilling important social values such as national integration, environmental conservation, women’s equality, and small family norms.

To support the learners, the Trust also provided free books and learning materials, ensuring that financial constraints did not hinder participation. The program made a significant impact, enabling participants to gain confidence, practical knowledge, and a sense of empowerment for a better future.
